Based in Chicago, Enrique Vargas is a bassist and producer that explores many styles of music. He specializes in jazz, funk, and pop on both electric and double bass.

​In 2024, Enrique graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in Bass Performance. While at Berklee, he was awarded the Bass Performance Scholarship Award in 2023 and the Mike Gordon Endowed Scholarship Award in 2024. Enrique studied under Anthony Vitti, Dave DiCenso, and Linda May Han Oh while at Berklee. 

As a producer, he specializes in pop and electronic music. From producing songs to writing background music, Enrique creates unique tracks that are stylistically appropriate.

Aside from music, he has experience scoring documentaries, editing audio/video for digital content, writing music articles, and teaching private lessons.
